Short answers to what customers ask most. Each one links to the full article.

Do I need an account to buy tickets?#

No. You can check out as a guest with just your name and email. Your tickets are emailed to you, and you can find them again any time at /my-tickets with a code sent to that email. See My Tickets.

Are there booking fees on top of the price?#

No. The price you see includes the booking fee and GST. Checkout shows them as "incl." so you can see them, but nothing is added at the end. See Checkout and payment.

How can I pay?#

By card, on Stripe's secure payment page, or with PayPal. Free orders need no payment. See Checkout and payment.

I didn't get my tickets email. What do I do?#

Check spam and promotions folders, then look up your order at /my-tickets using the email you bought with. See Didn't get your tickets email?

Do I need to print my tickets?#

No. Showing the QR code on your phone is fine. You can also print the PDF or add each ticket to Apple Wallet. See Ticket PDF and Apple Wallet.

Can I get a refund?#

Open your order and select Request a refund. The event's host decides — refunds are at their discretion. If the host cancels the event, you're refunded the ticket price automatically — the booking fee isn't refundable unless the organiser chooses to refund it too. Refunds go back to the card or PayPal account you paid with; card refunds usually land within 5–10 business days. See Refunds.

I can't go. Can I give my ticket to someone else?#

Yes. Open your order, choose the ticket and select Transfer / Gift. They get their own ticket and your copy stops working. See Transferring tickets.

The event is sold out. Can I still get in?#

Join the waitlist from the event page. If tickets come back, we email people in the order they joined. See Waitlists.

Where do I get a tax invoice?#

Your confirmation email is your tax invoice. It shows the total paid, the GST and booking fee included, and the seller's ABN. See Receipts and tax invoices.

Why isn't my promo code working?#

Check the spelling and that it's for this event. Some codes need a minimum spend, cover only certain tickets, or have run out. See Using a promo code.

The event's been cancelled or changed. What happens?#

If it's cancelled, you're refunded the ticket price (plus the booking fee if the organiser chooses) and emailed — you don't need to do anything. For other changes, the host emails ticket holders. See Event changes and cancellations.

How do I contact ShowTix?#

Email support@showtix.com.au, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 AEST. See Contact support.
