On this page

If an event has reserved seating, its page shows a seating map next to the Tickets panel. Tap a seat or table to add it to your order, tap a standing area to choose how many tickets, or use Find best seats and let us pick for you.

Events without a seating map are general admission — you just choose a quantity for each ticket type with the + and − buttons.

Picking seats on the map#

  1. Open the event and wait for Loading the seating map… to finish.

  2. Tap or click a seat or table. It's held for you and added to the Tickets panel straight away.

  3. To remove a seat, tap it again on the map (the hover card says In your order · click to remove) or select the × next to it in the panel.

  4. For a standing area, tap the area on the map — it jumps to that section's tickets so you can choose a quantity.

  5. When you're happy, select Checkout.

Each seat you pick shows in the panel with its label (for example "Stalls · Row A · Seat 12"), its ticket type and price. If a section has more than one ticket type, you can change the type for each seat in the panel.

Reading the map#

  • The buttons above the map filter by section or price — select one to zoom to it, select it again to show everything.

  • Hover over (or tap) a seat to see its price and status: available, Sold, Not on sale or Not available.

  • Accessible seats show a ♿ symbol and Wheelchair accessible; companion seats show Companion seat. See Accessibility.

Some events also have a View floorplan link above the tickets, which opens the venue's plan as an image.

Let us find the best seats#

Under each seated section in the Tickets panel:

  1. Use − and + to choose how many seats you want (1 to 10).

  2. Select Find best seats. We hold the best run of seats sitting together in that section.

  3. If we can't find that many together, you'll see "We couldn't find 4 seats together — these are the best 4 available." Check the seats before you continue.

  4. To add more, select Add best seats.

This is also the easiest way to choose seats with a keyboard or screen reader.

When a seat can't be held#

  • "Sorry — someone just grabbed that seat." Another customer got there first. The map refreshes — pick another.

  • "These seats aren't on sale yet." That section opens later; the panel shows when.

  • "Maximum 6 per order for …" The host has set a per-order limit for that ticket type.

  • "There aren't 4 seats left in …" Choose fewer seats or another section.

The map updates live as other people buy, so sold seats disappear while you're looking.

How long seats are held#

Seats are held in your cart while you check out. At checkout a timer shows how long you have left — the hold lasts about 15 minutes. If the timer runs out, the seats are released and you'll need to choose again. You haven't been charged. See Checkout and payment.
