Internal

This page is for ShowTix platform admins only. These screens are not visible to hosts.

Platform Admin → Organisations (/admin/organisations) lists every organisation on ShowTix with its size, sales and storefront domain. It's also where you set an organisation's default feature flags — for example, to give a whole organisation the Engagements area.

The organisation list#

Organisations are sorted by name. Deleted organisations aren't shown. Use Search organisations... to match on name or slug.

Storefront status#

  • A custom domain with Verified has passed its DNS TXT check (hover to see the date).

  • Unverified · not routed means the DNS TXT record hasn't been verified, so the domain doesn't serve the storefront yet.

The host sets up domains themselves — see Storefronts and custom domains.

Editing an organisation's name, members or settings from here is not available yet. Members are managed by the organisation's own owners and admins — see Organisations and team.

Feature flags#

Feature flags turn on the parts of ShowTix that a ticketing-only host doesn't need. There are four:

FlagLabel in the panelWhat it unlocks
private_gigsPrivate engagementsEngagements console, performer bookings, finalisation & ABA
bookingsBooking EnquiriesContractor bookings & enquiries
quotesQuotesQuote builder & sharing
contactsContactsContact book

The engagement tools these unlock are described in Engagements overview.

How a user's flags are worked out#

For each flag, ShowTix uses the first value it finds:

  1. The user's own override — set on the Users tab.

  2. The organisation default — set here, for the user's current organisation.

  3. The standard default — off. New accounts get the ticketing-only experience.

So an organisation default applies to everyone whose current organisation is this one, unless they have their own override. A member who switches to another organisation picks up that organisation's defaults instead.

Changing an organisation's flags#

  1. Open the panel

Click Flags on the organisation's row. The Feature flags panel opens with "Organisation · name" underneath.

  2. Switch flags on or off

Each flag has an on/off switch. A flag that has never been set shows as off.

  3. Save

Click Save flags. You'll see "Feature flags updated". Cancel closes without saving.

The change applies to members the next time their account details load (for example, when they refresh the page or reopen the app). The Engagements area only appears for accounts where private_gigs resolves to on.

To switch the Engagements area on for one person rather than a whole organisation, set an override on the Users tab instead.
