Internal
This page is for ShowTix platform admins only. These screens are not visible to hosts.
Platform Admin → Users (/admin/users) lists every account on ShowTix — customers, hosts, performers and staff — newest first. From here you can look someone up and set feature flag overrides for that one person.
Finding a user#
Search users by name or email... matches email, first name or last name.
The dropdown filters by confirmation: All users, Confirmed or Unconfirmed.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| User | Name and email. A shield icon marks a platform admin. |
| Type | The account type |
| Organisation | The organisation the user currently has selected (— if none) |
| Confirmed | Active if they've confirmed their email, Pending if not |
| Joined | Sign-up date |
| Flags | Opens the feature flags panel |
The Organisation column shows only the user's current organisation. Someone who belongs to several organisations still appears once.
Feature flags for one user#
Per-user overrides beat the organisation default. Use them to give one person the Engagements area (or take it away) without changing anyone else in their organisation. The four flags — Private engagements, Booking Enquiries, Quotes and Contacts — are explained in Organisations and feature flags.
Open the panel
Click Flags on the user's row, or click anywhere on the row. The Feature flags panel opens with "User · name" underneath.
Choose a setting for each flag
Each flag has three options: inherit, on and off. inherit means no override — the user gets their organisation's default, or off if the organisation hasn't set one. If the user has a current organisation, each flag also shows Effective: on or Effective: off.
Save
Click Save flags. You'll see "Feature flags updated".
Clicking an option moves the flag one step along inherit → on → off → inherit, rather than jumping straight to the option you clicked. Keep clicking until the option you want is highlighted, then save.
The user sees the change the next time their account details load — for example, after refreshing the page or reopening the app.
What you can't do here yet#
The Users tab is a lookup and flags tool only. These are not available yet:
Editing a user's name, email or type
Confirming an email, resending a sign-in code or resetting a password on someone's behalf — point them to Signing in
Suspending, deleting or merging accounts
Making someone a platform admin, or removing it
Approving a host directly — hosts are approved by approving one of their held events. See Approvals.
Filtering by organisation membership or account type (the API supports it; the page doesn't show those filters)
